Utah and Uzbekistan have a golden opportunity to team up in a way that’s not just smart but impactful. Uzbekistan has undergone a remarkable digital transformation in the past decade, driven by its ambitious Digital Uzbekistan 2030 strategy. The initiative has fast-tracked advancements in digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence, laying the foundation for a thriving digital economy.
With Uzbekistan’s Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies in Utah for the annual Silicon Slopes Summit, the stage is set for the Beehive State’s tech and fintech businesses to connect with one of Central Asia’s most dynamic, growing markets. Uzbekistan is on the lookout for companies that can bring real, tangible value in tech and innovation. Its strategic location in Central Asia could open doors for Utah tech companies looking to expand their products and services into new global markets.
It’s a win-win: Utah can help fuel Uzbekistan’s modernization and tech growth and tap into an emerging market to spread its wings. Together, these partnerships can spark real deals and build lasting relationships that are both profitable and exciting.
On January 16, Utah businesses joined us for breakfast with Uzbekistan’s Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies, Rustam Karimjonov, to explore how Utah and Uzbekistan could collaborate to boost business and tap into exciting growth opportunities.
This event is hosted in partnership with the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity and the Salt Lake Chamber.
