Consul General Nazira Nurbayeva

Nazira Nurbayeva Nazira Nurbayeva's career spans the private and public sectors. She began at PwC Kazakhstan, became a partner at Deloitte, and was appointed managing director of economics and finance at the National Welfare Fund Samruk-Kazyna in 2021. Nurbayeva held board positions at Kazatomprom, Qazaq Air, and KTZ.

She transitioned to government service in August 2023 as deputy minister of foreign affairs of Kazakhstan. In September 2024, Nurbayeva became consul general of Kazakhstan in San Francisco, where she fosters international relations and represents Kazakhstan's interests in the U.S.
