Tbilisi, or not Tbilisi...that is the question

Did you know that Georgia ranks 35th in the 2023 Economic Freedom Index and boasts the lowest corruption rate in the Caucasus? Positioned at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, Georgia is a small country with big opportunities, especially for Utah businesses looking to expand their global reach.

As its economy steadily grows, the country is investing heavily in infrastructure, from roads to energy grids, making it a prime market for construction equipment and services. And if agriculture is your thing, Georgia’s fertile land is driving demand for food processing tech and agricultural machinery. The IT sector isn’t sitting still, either — there’s growing need for cutting-edge systems and software to support new business ventures.

Join us for an insightful luncheon with Consul General Levan Kulijanishvili to learn more about expanding to Georgia (and not the one with the peaches).

This event is hosted in partnership with the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity and the Salt Lake Chamber.

Email Rayanne Riepl with any questions: rriepl@wtcutah.com.
