WTC Utah to Recognize Central Utah Companies Leading the Way in International Business
Call for international business award nominations
SALT LAKE CITY – In anticipation of the upcoming Central Utah International Business Forum, World Trade Center Utah (WTC Utah) is requesting nominations for the Champion for International Business Award and for the Vanguard in International Business Award.
A successful candidate for the Vanguard in International Business Award meets the following criteria:
Utah-based business headquartered in one of the following counties: Juab, Millard, Sanpete, Sevier, Piute, and Wayne.
Has successfully exported for at least one year.
Has potential for increased export activity.
A successful candidate for the Champion for International Business Award meets the following criteria:
An individual from Juab, Millard, Sanpete, Sevier, Piute, or Wayne County who supports and advocates for businesses expanding into international markets.
The awards will be presented by WTC Utah, in partnership with the Department of Workforce Services, at the Central Utah International Business Forum. The forum will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at the Snow College Administration Building in Richfield, in partnership with the Six County Association of Governments Alliance and Utah’s Department of Workforce Services.
Local business leaders will discuss “Lessons Learned” from doing business internationally in a panel-style format. WTC Utah President & CEO Derek B. Miller will conclude the event by delivering the keynote address. Following the event, there will be time dedicated for networking and connecting with business service providers.
The Central Utah International Business Forum serves those located in Juab, Millard, Sanpete, Sevier, Piute, and Wayne counties.
