World Trade Center Utah Seminar Designed to Help Utah Companies Go Global

First WTC Utah seminar of 2015 scheduled for January 21

Approximately 95 percent of consumers are located outside of the U.S. and World Trade Center Utah (WTC Utah) wants to help companies tap into that market. The Take a Good Look in the Mirror Seminar on January 21 will help Utah companies assess if they are ready to enter the international marketplace and determine what location would best fit their product.

“All Utah businesses should assess if they have the capacity and resources to grow internationally,” said Derek B. Miller, president and CEO of WTC Utah. “With the technological advances and decreased barriers to entry that have occurred over the last century, millions of customers are a plane ride or mouse click away. Our seminars are designed to help companies first determine if they are export ready and then guide them through the steps of becoming a global organization. “

The first in a series of seminars by WTC Utah to “Help You Think, Act and Succeed Globally,” the Take a Good Look in the Mirror Seminar will walk attendees through the more substantive parts of a business assessment designed to identify a company’s strengths, weaknesses and export readiness. WTC Utah’s trade services team will be available at the end of the seminar to address specific questions attendees may have.

The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will take place at the World Trade Center Building at City Creek. The seminar is free, but registration is required. A light breakfast will be provided.
