From shamrocks to red rocks ☘️🌄

Utah and Ireland share a strong foundation in business-friendly policies, family, and the great outdoors — making them natural partners in MedTech, retail, and sustainability.

We hosted a lunch with Ireland’s Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade, and Employment Alan Dillon, on his first visit to Utah, with Consul General Marcella Smyth and the Industrial Development Agency! He outlined Ireland’s stable economy, commitment to education, and ongoing investment in infrastructure, including a €106 million project to enhance business opportunities. Dillon noted that over 200,000 Irish jobs are thriving in the U.S., underscoring the strong trade relationship between the two nations.

This event was hosted in partnership with the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity, the Salt Lake Chamber, Consulate of Ireland, and IDA Ireland.
