WTC Utah to Recognize Northern Utah Companies Leading the Way in International Business
Call for Northern Utah International Business Forum award nominations
SALT LAKE CITY – In anticipation of the upcoming Northern Utah International Business Forum, World Trade Center Utah (WTC Utah) is requesting nominations for the Champion for International Business Award and for the Vanguard in International Business Award.
A successful candidate for the Vanguard in International Business Award meets the following criteria:
Utah-based business headquartered in one of the following counties: Box Elder, Cache, Rich, or Weber.
Has successfully exported for at least one year.
Has potential for increased export activity.
A successful candidate for the Champion for International Business Award meets the following criteria:
An individual from Box Elder, Cache, Rich, or Weber County who supports and advocates for businesses expanding into international markets.
The awards will be presented by WTC Utah, in partnership with the Department of Workforce Services, at the Northern Utah International Business Forum. The forum will be held Thursday, April 28, 2016 at the Academy Center in Brigham City, Utah.
Local business leaders will discuss “Lessons Learned” from doing business internationally in a panel-style format. Following the panel discussion, there will be time dedicated for networking and connecting with service providers. Lieutenant Governor Spencer J. Cox will conclude the event by delivering the keynote address.
The Northern Utah International Business Forum serves those located in Box Elder, Cache, Rich, and Weber County.
