World Trade Center Utah Reflects on 15th Anniversary of Sept. 11 Attacks

SALT LAKE CITY – World Trade Center Utah President and CEO Derek B. Miller released the following statement in remembrance of Sept. 11, 2001:

“September 11, 2001, is a day marked by shock and tragedy. Even 15 years later we remember where we stood when we heard the news. I was in my office in Washington D.C., where a few minutes later I looked out of my window to see smoke rising from the Pentagon,” said Derek B. Miller, president and CEO of World Trade Center Utah. “Unfortunately, senseless violence by extremist groups is not a thing of the past. So how can we respond to these tragedies? One of the best ways is to work toward global stability and prosperity. That is a goal of WTC Utah, to build mutually beneficial trade relationships between countries that lead to economic success.”
