Utah Global Forum to Welcome CNN Commentator and the President of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
SALT LAKE CITY (Sept. 25, 2017) – The 2017 Utah Global Forum will feature CNN Contributor Ana Navarro and U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Javier Palomarez as keynote speakers. The event, hosted by Gov. Gary R. Herbert, will take place Oct. 17 at the Grand America Hotel.
“Having two nationally recognized keynote speakers at this year’s Global Forum will give attendees a richer understanding of issues impacting international trade,” said Derek B. Miller, president and CEO of World Trade Center Utah. “Ana Navarro’s remarks will go behind the headlines to provide insightful context around current affairs, while Javier will highlight how diversity can improve a company’s bottom line.”
The Utah Global Forum is the state’s premier international business event. The half-day forum offers learning opportunities for companies at all stages of the export process. Breakout sessions will focus on the forum theme of “Prosperity Through Diversity,” which includes diversity of markets, people, finance and resources.
Fast-paced Power Presentations will cover timely topics including how current events influence financial markets, how technology is changing the global business landscape, what it means to leverage a made in America brand and how Utah is performing internationally.

The Utah Global Forum is a joint effort between World Trade Center Utah, GOED and the Salt Lake Chamber. In 2016, Utah exports totaled $12.1 billion. Top export commodities include metals, computer and electronic products, chemicals, food and kindred products and transportation equipment.
