It’s no secret: Utah’s women-led businesses are kind of a big deal. Each year, we partner with the Women’s Business Center of Utah to celebrate them! Thanks to all who joined us for our 2024 event, including our program speakers, entertainment, and bazaar vendors.

Mother, Investor, Storyteller, Film Producer, Humanitarian Eco-designer

  • Naja Lockwood has executive produced multiple documentary and narrative films focusing on social justice issues including 76 Days, Try Harder!, Coming Home Again, Gook and Cries From Syria. She is the founder of RYSE Media Ventures, which supports stories of diverse voices, and is an investor in Impact Partners Films, which has financed the Academy Award-winning documentary Icarus, as well as Won’t You Be My Neighbor and Audrie and Daisy. She financed and co-produced The First Days with StoryCorps, which is a collaboration between StoryCorps and PBS American Experience. It aimed to collect, preserve and celebrate the stories of Vietnamese American refugees and Vietnam veterans throughout America.

    Naja graduated with a BA from Boston University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She currently serves on the board of the Utah Film Commission, the Center for Asian American Media (CAAM) and the Global Advisory Board of Fulbright University Vietnam.

  • Jacki Zehner is the founder of SheMoney, a Utah-based company dedicated to advancing women’s financial well-being. She learned a lot about money at Goldman Sachs, where, in 1996, she became the youngest woman and first female trader to become a partner at the firm. After leaving Goldman, she spent a decade in wealth management before co-founding Women Moving Millions, a global philanthropic network whose mission is to catalyze unprecedented resources for a gender-equal world.   • Sui Lang L. Panoke is a visionary leader and social entrepreneur with a passion for empowering today’s leaders to rethink, create and innovate. As Senior Vice President of Culture at Zions Bank, she is responsible for directing a strategic vision to build a culture of community, prosperity, and growth across the bank and in the communities that it serves.

    Sui Lang is the founder of Rethink International, Hardware Creative Collective, Rethink Tank, and Women Politics Media. She has trained thousands of leaders around the world, leading in politics, business, government, nonprofits, and the media on a wide range of global leadership, culture, and strategic communications topics.

    She holds a BS in political science from the University of Utah and MPA from American University’s Women & Politics Institute. She serves on numerous community and nonprofit boards and was awarded the 2022 Pathfinder Leadership Award by the Salt Lake Chamber.
