Utah Global Forum Announces Keynote Speaker Ben Stein

Salt Lake City – Ben Stein, known for his economic lessons on and off-screen, will be the keynote speaker at the 2018 Utah Global Forum hosted by Gov. Gary R. Herbert. The event, which is a joint effort between World Trade Center Utah (WTC Utah), the Governor's Office of Economic Development (GOED) and the Salt Lake Chamber, will take place on Nov. 8 at the Grand America Hotel.

Utah Businesses Tentatively Optimistic After New NAFTA Revision

On September 30th, the U.S., Canada and Mexico finalized a long-awaited trade deal that will replace the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). Assuming it is approved by the legislatures in the three countries, the new deal—called the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA)—will govern trade in North America beginning in 2020.
