Miles Hansen, President and CEO of WTC Utah
Miles Hansen is the president and CEO of World Trade Center Utah, an organization that leads Utah’s international business development and elevates Utah’s global status to promote prosperity and build economic resilience. In this capacity, Miles oversees WTC Utah’s efforts to empower Utah businesses to expand international sales, attract international investment and facilitate partnerships, and mobilize Utah’s international engagement. Previously, Miles was the Director of Gulf Affairs for the National Security Council at the White House. He has also served tours as a U.S. diplomat working on energy, security, and business issues in the United Arab Emirates, Armenia, and Saudi Arabia as well as serving in several positions in Washington, DC. Miles is a graduate of both Brigham Young University and Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. A speaker of Russian, Farsi and Arabic (albeit at this point all three are getting a bit rusty), Miles has firsthand experience in nearly 80 countries and is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
