Join World Trade Center Utah at a Roundtable Seminar with Congressman Erik Paulsen (MN-03) to learn more about the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) and the role congress plays. During the roundtable attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Congressman Paulsen about TTIP, why it is important to further develop international trade with the European Union and how it impacts local economies. Congressman Paulsen is well versed on many issues and wants to hear from Utah business, educational and political leaders. The roundtable will be an open dialogue environment where attendees will be encouraged to ask questions.

Congressman Paulsen represents Minnesota’s Third Congressional District. Before he was elected to Congress, he spent more than 16 years in the private sector, working as a business analyst for Target Corporation. Congressman Paulsen serves as co-chair of the TTIP Caucus, co-chair of the House Medical Technology Caucus, a member of the Ways & Means Committee and a member of the Joint Economic Committee. He believes that open markets are essential to build and sustain a robust and growing economy.

Before he was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives Congressman Paulsen served 14 years in the Minnesota State Legislature and was the House Majority Leader for four years. Congressman Paulsen graduated from St. Olaf College with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. He, his wife and their four daughters live in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

The Roundtable Seminar will be held Monday, September 21 from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at the World Trade Center Building at City Creek.
