Utah Global Forum Announces Keynote Speaker Ben Stein

Salt Lake City – Ben Stein, known for his economic lessons on and off-screen, will be the keynote speaker at the 2018 Utah Global Forum hosted by Gov. Gary R. Herbert. The event, which is a joint effort between World Trade Center Utah (WTC Utah), the Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) and the Salt Lake Chamber, will take place on Nov. 8 at the Grand America Hotel.

Utah Businesses Tentatively Optimistic After New NAFTA Revision

On September 30th, the U.S., Canada and Mexico finalized a long-awaited trade deal that will replace the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). Assuming it is approved by the legislatures in the three countries, the new deal—called the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA)—will govern trade in North America beginning in 2020.

World Trade Center Utah (WTC Utah) announced Miles Hansen as the new President and CEO of WTC Utah. Hansen replaces Derek B. Miller who left to become the President and CEO of the Salt Lake Chamber and Downtown Alliance.
