The event is ideal for companies and individuals who are exploring export opportunities for the first time or those looking to expand into a new region. U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Utah District Office assists hundreds of small businesses each year by providing financial assistance through SBA’s loan programs. SBA provides access to capital programs including guaranteed loans, counseling programs such as SCORE, SBDC, Women’s Business Center and procurement programs known as the 3 C’s capital, counseling, and contracting. The Utah U.S. Export Assistance Center (USEAC) is dedicated to helping Utah businesses realize their export potential. The Utah USEAC office can also provide information on all Federal programs designed to support international trade.
Governor’s Office of Economic Development State Trade & Export Promotion (STEP) offers matching grants that can help your business enter dynamic global markets that will make your business even more successful. Activities have been designed to assist small businesses at every stage of export development. Small businesses will definitely want to take advantage of this unique opportunity to receive a matching grant up to $10,000 requiring a 100% cash match. Funds may be used to exhibit at an international trade show where the business is establishing a new international market.
