Finance and Grants Manager

The World Trade Center Utah (WTC Utah) is a 501(c)6 organization that is dedicated to helping Utah companies “Think, Act and Succeed Globally.” We accomplish this through our three primary objectives:

  1. Motivate and educate Utah businesses to expand their global presence.
  2. Build capacity of Utah businesses for international trade.
  3. Expand global network of Utah businesses through trade missions and networking with foreign trade officials.  

Position Overview: The WTC Utah is seeking a collaborative, hard-working, and energetic individual to serve as the Finance and Contracts Coordinator. This coordinator will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, account monitoring, and the processing of payroll, invoices, payments. Additionally, the incumbent will coordinate directly with the WTCU finance committee and organizational leadership on financial oversight. The incumbent will process and monitor all contracts entered into by the organization.

Skills, Knowledge and Attributes 

  • A bachelor degree (master preferred) in accounting, finance, business, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial management, grant management and program support.
  • Experience utilizing financial management, bookkeeping and payment software, including: QuickBooks, Square, Stripe, etc.
  • Understanding of processes, policies and procedures
  • Experience working with businesses and business service providers
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask with few errors
  • Consistent demonstration of responsibility and initiative
  • Ability to make a decision or solve a problem by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions
  • Strong and effective communicator (both verbal and written)


Job Duties: 

  • Bookkeeping, account monitoring, payroll, invoices, payments and other financial management responsibilities as assigned.
  • Oversee contracts for grant programs and administration of grant awards
  • Ensuring that grant programs and services are delivered in accordance with the grant terms and conditions
  • Reimbursement processing for employees, partners and companies
  • Managing monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements (state and federal)
  • Preparing and submitting grant renewal applications
  • Internal presentations on financial standing
  • Other duties as assigned


Annual Salary: 

$45,000 – $55,000
