Marketing Manager

The World Trade Center Utah (WTC Utah) is a private nonprofit with the mission to expand prosperity across the state by attracting investment and increasing exports.  This mission is accomplished through three key objectives:

  1. Help Utah companies add customers, increase revenue and create jobs by selling internationally.
  2. Promote Utah as a premier destination for international companies to establish operations and create jobs.
  3. Expand Utah’s global position by hosting foreign dignitaries and leading Utah delegations abroad.

Position Overview: WTC Utah is seeking a collaborative, energetic, hard-working individual to assist with business marketing and event coordination.

Skills, Experience and Attributes

  • Bachelor degree in marketing, business public relations, or other related fields.
  • 3-5 years experience in marketing and/or public relations.
  • Collaborative, organized, detail-oriented, takes initiative and is a problem solver.
  • Creativity to develop compelling and persuasive messaging coupled with the strategic intelligence to get the message to the right audiences.
  • Strong and effective communicator, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Suite programs.
  • Proficient in social media marketing and analytics.
  • Experience with graphic design and website administration, such as WordPress.
  • Experience in email marketing tools and analytics, such as MailChimp.
  • Experience with digital advertising on platforms such as Google AdWords, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
  • Ability to coordinate with media, businesses, government and community organizations.
  • Ability to analyze and understand digital analytics.

Job Duties:

  • Help develop, implement and update a strategic marketing plan for the organization.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and content, through coordination with WTC team.
  • Develop marketing material (including print, social media posts, and email) for targeted audiences to support WTC services and events.
  • Build online social media communities, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Maintain the WTC Utah website including content creation, updates and lead generation.
  • Coordinate and produce the WTC Utah podcast.
  • Coordinate marketing material, messaging and timelines with economic partners, board members and other pertinent organizations.
  • Coordinate with WTC team to identify content, materials, format and presenters for events.
  • Assist with event planning, logistics and coordination with partner organizations.

Annual Salary: 

$45,000-$55,000
